What a Wicked On-Sale Event!

The Wicked on-sale morning was exciting, if you love getting up at 6am to get great tickets.  But Many super fans were eager to get the best of the best for the biggest Broadway Blockbuster to come to the triangle, Wicked.  We had over 400 people in the door during the first two hours on what was one of the colder mornings of the season, but people wore their down jackets and were ready to go.  The lobby was filled; as you can see in the photos, Mix 101.5 FM broadcasted live on sit with giveaways, tickets, a prize wheel, and breakfast treats for everyone.  Basically the theatre spoke green and black, hence, the theme colors of Wicked.  It seems like we have been waiting all year for the time to come and now we can count down less than 4 months.

So the show is into town beginning April 21st for four weeks and tickets are moving fast…ofcourse.  I can’t wait to finally hear the real Elphaba sing Defying Gravity instead of my pathetic attempt in the halls of DPAC.
